Abstract

The study of insults is of paramount importance for linguists whose task is to approach them through various approaches, including semantic, syntactic, sociolinguistic, pragmatic ones. Our article endeavors to analyze insults in the speech of women from Fes, Morocco, relying on a representative corpus. In this sense, we will strive to examine insults present in nominal statements before shedding light on their manifestation in verbal statements, highlighting the semantics and syntax of occurrences in our corpus.
